The Communications page allows you to configure all communications-related settings. In this article, we cover everything you need to know about how to configure them.

Step 1
Navigate to Administration from the top menu then click Communications
Currently, the Communications page is grouped into 3 sections:
Platform Messaging
1. Onboarding Message - This is the message that new users see upon their first login.
- Start by toggling on the 'Enable Onboarding Message" setting
- Create the onboarding message that includes all the information that you would like to share with users upon their first login. Use this template to get started:
- Check the example Onboarding message below
- Gifs are supported by embedding a link to the external image. Simply click the 2nd picture icon to embed external gif.
- Hit Save
NOTE: Disabling the onboarding message will delete it as well.

2. Custom SSO Error Message - This is the message that will be displayed when users encounter an error when trying to log in via SSO.
- Start by toggling on the "Enable custom SSO error message" setting
- Create your custom message.
- Click Save
NOTE: Disabling the customer SSO error message will also delete it, in which case the platform will revert to the default SSO error message.

Communication Events
1. Send inactive user reminders - This setting sends automated personalized emails to users who have enabled their accounts but haven't logged in for 90+ days. Emails will recommend an interactive activity on a relevant topic in their preferred coding language.

2. Send SCIM invitation email - This setting sends the invitation emails to users provisioned via SCIM. By disabling this setting no invitation email will be sent from the platform to newly created users through SCIM.

Communication Channels
Enable Microsoft Teams notification - This setting sends notifications to users via Microsoft Teams to drive better user engagement.

Email Settings
Include calendar invite in emails - This setting adds an .ICS attachment to notification emails sent for assigned learning with due dates (Courses, Tournaments)
