The Quest Insights Panel provides admins with valuable real-time insights as they create Quests. This panel helps admins better understand how well their selected content matches their learners and how much time their team will likely need to complete the Quest.
Note: The panel automatically appears on the right-hand side of the screen while setting up a Quest. It updates dynamically as admins select participants and learning objectives.
The panel includes three sections:
Language Coverage
This section shows how well the selected objectives match the languages of the learners assigned to the Quest. This visibility allows admins to adjust their objectives if they want to better align the Quest content with their learners’ skills.
Admins can immediately see:
- How many users have languages selected that match the selected objectives.
- How many users have not yet selected any language.
- How many users have selected languages that do not apply to the selected objectives.
Time to Complete
This section shows an estimate of how long it will take learners to complete the Quest based on the selected content.
Things to note:
- The calculation uses the estimated times for each objective, similar to what learners see on their MyQuest page.
- The time to complete is displayed as a distribution chart, showing how many learners fall into each estimated time range (e.g., 1-2 hours, 2-3 hours, etc.).
- The chart updates live as admins add or remove objectives, helping them balance content quantity and expected completion time.
Average Time per Language
This section breaks down the average completion time per language.
- The list shows each language and the estimated time required to complete the Quest for that language.
- Languages are displayed in order of popularity for that customer; if it’s a new customer with no usage history, they’re shown in alphabetical order.
- If a language doesn’t apply to the selected objectives, no time (0 minutes) will be shown for that language
