Quests
This quarter saw the continued evolution of Quests, or SCW’s new turnkey learning paths delivered in developers’ preferred coding languages. Developments included:
- LMS Integration - Easily create custom Quests that are automatically exported via a SCORM package to host on your organisation’s LMS.
- Edit Active Quests - Edit active Quests that have already been published, or scheduled Quests before they’ve been assigned. Editable fields include Quest name, badge, mandatory toggle, teams assigned, and end date.
- Share Quest Drafts - Easily share Quests amongst admins for increased visibility and collaboration before a Quest gets published.
- Relative End Dates - Allow Quests to run continuously, with each learner having a set time frame to complete the training rather than having a Quest end on a specific date.
- Custom Messages - Add custom messages at the start and end of Quests, introducing concepts to your team, linking to relevant materials, or showcasing next steps.
- Insights Panel - Gain visibility into Quest coverage (which learners will receive the Quest), estimated completion time, and time breakdown by language during Quest configuration.
- Curriculum Coverage - See a breakdown of objectives by specific vulnerability as well as which languages they apply to.
- Conceptual Content - We’ve expanded our Quest content to better support non-developer roles with conceptual topics focused on secure design and awareness. View the Quests Security Awareness and Design Concepts catalogue to learn more.
Administrator Updates
- New User Management Experience - Easily view, manage, and organize users across teams in our new, more intuitive User & Team Management interface with improved filtering and bulk actions. See this article for more information.
- Learner Metrics - Click on any learner’s name in the Metrics reports to open a detailed view showing key learner stats and a progress summary across all assigned learning activities. API access is supported via our Reporting GraphQL API. See this article for more information.
- Resource Center for Admins - This in-platform resource center is a centralized hub where you can find what you need, when you need it. Key features include an Announcements section, a Knowledge Base Search, How-To video catalog, plus Additional Resources.
- Executive Sponsor Email - Admins can now opt-in to receive a quarterly summary of key metrics, including quarterly trends in your Trust Score, rank, and percentile in your relevant benchmark, and program recommendations for improving your Trust Score. You can manage this under Administration.
