Polaris Integration

The Black Duck Polaris Platform integrates with Secure Code Warrior® to provide developers with contextual, in-workflow security training. This partnership addresses the "human risk factor" in software development by combining automated vulnerability detection with targeted, interactive education.

How the Integration Works

When the Polaris Platform identifies a security issue, it can provide a link to a specific Secure Code Warrior training module that teaches the developer how to fix that particular vulnerability and prevent similar ones in the future. To enable the Secure Code Warrior integration, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to My Organization > Integrations
   
   
    
2. Select "Enable Secure Code Warrior Training"
    
3. Once the Secure Code Warrior integration is enabled, links to free, interactive training resources appear in the Issue Details pane, when available. Links are context-sensitive, and direct you to training tailored to a specific issue.
