Have you ever played a challenge and thought that one or more solutions contain exactly the same changes? Well, let us explain why this might not be the case.
Certain solutions may call the same method in one file, but the definition of that method might be updated in a different file.
The files that contain updates for the selected solution are always in bold orange and marked with an asterisk (*).
Hot Tip: If you want to compare two specific solutions, use the options listed on the left-hand side.
The screenshot below shows how you can compare two solutions side by side:
- Left-hand side: Solution 3 is selected
- Right-hand side: Solution 1 is selected
This will cause the file tree and file view to mark the differences between Solution 3 and Solution 1 instead of comparing them to the vulnerable code.
If this method shows no differences between the two solutions, please report this issue to our support team using the "submit bug or feedback button" button
