Locate Vulnerbaility Stage
Hint 1: Narrowing your options...
The first hint available for this stage of the challenge will narrow your options by removing an irrelevant code block to help you get to the right solution.
Once unlocked you will see that the window outlines which selection has been excluded and one of the code blocks is no longer selectable.
Hint 2: Narrowing your options...
Similar to the first hint this will further remove any selectable code blocks that are irrelevant
You will once again see which code block has been removed from the pool of selectable options
Hint 3: Remove all remaining incorrect code blocks
This is the last and final hint available to the player, this hint will remove all incorrect blocks and only leave the correct block available
Once unlocked the hint will state that all incorrect blocks have been removed and you will see only the correct answer available for the question
Identify Vulnerability Stage
Before we get into the hints available for this stage of a challenge, it is important to note that you can read more and watch videos (if available) about each available vulnerability without using a hint, to do so you can click the "i" button to the right-hand side of each available vulnerability.
Once you click the "i" a window will pop up which will give a brief description of the vulnerability as well as provide a video if available to learn more.

The first hint for this type of challenge will remove some of the available options to choose from.
The hint will first outline which vulnerabilities have been rules out and show these in the challenge with an "x" next to them
Hint 2: Narrowing your options
Using this hint will remove all remaining incorrect answers for this challenge.
When the hint is used it will outline which categories have been removed and in the challenge, these will show with "x" next to them
Fix Vulnerability Stage
Hint 1: Narrowing your options
This hint will remove an incorrect solution and explain why that is not the most secure fix for the vulnerability.
The solution that had been removed will now display an "x" in the selection
Hint 2: Narrowing your options
Removes another incorrect solution and explains why that is not the most secure fix for the vulnerability.
Hint 3: Narrowing your options
Removes the last remaining incorrect solution and explains why that is not the most secure fix for the vulnerability. After submitting this solution, the explanation of why that solution was the correct solution would pop up.
Hints in Missions
When playing missions, Hints will operate a bit differently. First of all, hints are not available for every step within a mission, they are usually available for the steps in a mission that are the more challenging for that particular mission.
Once you click the "Get hint" button in a mission a pop-up window will outline the implications of using the hint.
