Issue:
We have recently become aware of a security incident with one of our suppliers (Mailchimp), involving unauthorized access. Mailchimp’s official statement addresses the relevant details of the incident.
Impact:
As of the date of this notification, we have not been informed that the Secure Code Warrior account is an affected account, and we have no reason to suspect we are impacted. However, we are currently awaiting confirmation on this point from Mailchimp.
Your service has not been impacted, and there is no risk associated with your data. We will continue to work with Mailchimp, and update this notice as more information becomes available.
We take such incidents very seriously, and remain at your disposal to respond to any questions or concerns you may have.
Update 3rd Feb
Secure Code Warrior has received an update from MailChimp to confirm that our account is not impacted based on the information Mailchimp has discovered to date. Should this change, Mailchimp will notify Secure Code Warrior promptly. Please be assured that Secure Code Warrior has also assessed and configured strict access controls with our Mailchimp account.
